Leopard Adoption reaches 80%

Tom Harrington over at Atomic Bird Software just announced that his customers are adopting Leopard at a quick pace and have passed 50% according to his Sparkle statistics.

LicenseKeeper also provides software updates via Sparkle and has been collecting similar anonymous computer information.

Tom was kind enough to share his reporting and graphing scripts with me and I’ve put together my own Sparkle Stats page displaying basic anonymous information about LicenseKeeper use. I thought it would be interesting to share my statistics to try and fill out the overall picture.

Some of the highlights include a nearly 80% Leopard adoption rate, 80% are running LicenseKeeper on Intel-based Macs, and 92% are using Apple Mail as their email client.
